Theatre in Our Schools Month (TIOS), celebrated every March, is a national campaign led by the American Alliance for Theatre and Education (AATE) and the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA). It highlights the impact of theater education and showcases how school theater builds empathy, creativity, and collaboration in students.
Our talented cast and crew will take the stage Thursday, March 5 and Friday, March 6 as they compete in the UIL District One Act Play hosted at Northeast Texas Community College in Mount Pleasant. The play is a comedy set in the 1920s on a cruise ship called “Our Hearts Were Young and Gay”.
