Redwater High School Announces Leadership Changes for 2024-25 School Year

Redwater, TX – Shaun George, current Assistant Principal of Redwater High School (RHS) and Redwater Junior High School (RJHS), has been named Principal of the campus effective July 1.  Joining George as part of his leadership team will be Stephanie Martindale as Assistant Principal for both RHS and RJHS.

 

George has been with Redwater ISD for six years and has 10 years in the educational field.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Texas A&M University -Texarkana.  George completed his Principal Certification with Lamar University and is currently working on his Doctorate in Educational Leadership which he anticipates completion in December 2025.  He also serves as the Lead Pastor with Richmond Road Church and was an Associate Pastor & Student Director with Highland Park Baptist Church.

Newcomer, Stephanie Martindale, began her career in education as Director of Bands for Prescott School District in 2002.  In 2007, she moved her talents to Liberty Eylau ISD as Director of Middle School Bands.  Martindale was named Assistant Principal of Liberty Eylau Middle School in 2011 and served in that position until 2015.  She took a hiatus from 2015-2020 to spend with her son and credits that time with who she is today as an educator and leader,  In 2020, Martindale returned to Liberty Eylau ISD in the position of Behavioral Interventionist for Liberty Eylau Elementary School.  She was named Assistant Principal of the campus in 2021.

 

Martindale holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Henderson State University and a Master of Education Administration from Texas A&M University - Texarkana.
