Redwater High School FAFSA Night for Seniors and their Parents/Guardians slated for October 3 has been cancelled and moved to Monday, October 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the RHS Cafeteria.
Please remember...Starting with the graduating class of 2022, the state has made filling out the FAFSA form a graduation requirement. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, is how a student and/or their parents can apply for federal student aid, such as federal grants, work-study, and loans, you need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). Completing and submitting the FAFSA is free and easier than ever, and it gives you access to the largest source of financial aid to pay for college or career school.
In addition, many states and colleges use your FAFSA information to determine your eligibility for state and school aid, and some private financial aid providers may use your FAFSA information to determine whether you qualify for their aid.
The process of filling out the FAFSA form has been streamlined since you and I filled it out. It is now done completely online and you can even use the IRS Data retrieval tool and they pull your tax info directly from the IRS.
The important stuff...
Texarkana College Financial aid office will be here on the evening of October 17. Please make every effort to be here as they can guide you through this process.
