RISD Welcomes Haley Turner as New Middle School Assistant Principal for 2019-2020

Redwater ISD is pleased to announce Haley Turner as the new Middle School Assistant Principal. The 2019-2020 school year will be Ms. Turner’s 10th year serving in education.  She began her career in education as a high school math teacher with Avery ISD. For the last 6 years, Ms. Turner served as a district administrator with Brownsboro ISD where she served served as the Technology Integration Specialist and then District Communication Officer, through which she provided instructional coaching and professional development to teachers and administrators.

Ms. Turned earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Arkansas.  She also holds a Master of Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M-Texarkana and completed her principal certification through the University of Texas-Tyler.

Ms. Turner recently moved back to the area with her husband, Josh, and their daughter Logan. Josh serves as the Athletic Director for Maud ISD and Logan will enter Pre-K this fall. She is excited to return to the area she has  always called “home” and to join the Redwater ISD team!
