The High School Book Club is calling for new coloring books and comic books, markers, and new or gently used children's books/novels. We will be collecting these through Wednesday of next week and then sending them to the Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief organization. Please send any collections to the High School Room 14.
Redwater's National Honor Society wants to do something to help those affected by the disaster in Moore, Oklahoma. The American Red Cross needs our help. In addition to the people in Oklahoma, Texans in Granbury and Cleburne are still clearing debris after last week's storms. The Red Cross is asking North Texans who are not affected by recent disasters to give to Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund so that victims of these disasters have the help they need right away. Gifts can be made in one of four different ways: online at www.redcross.org/northeasttexas; in person or by mail to the office located at 821 Spruce, Texarkana, TX 75501; by phone at 1-800-RED-CROSS or 903-793-5602; or by texting REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 gift.
